The Nevada State Board of Osteopathic Medicine's mission is to protect and safeguard the public by licensing and disciplining well-educated and competent Doctors of Osteopathy and Physician Assistants.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the COVID-19 situation and Governor Sisolak’s directive, the Board staff office will be closed to the public until further notice. Staff will conduct work tasks remotely (off-site) during regular business hours, and will respond to telephone calls and emails. We do not anticipate any interruption in office operations. 2020 BOARD MEETING DATES

NSBOM meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month except July @ 5:30p at the Board office. Meeting dates for 2020 are as follows: January 14; February 11; March 10; April 14; May 12; June 9; August 11; September 8; October 13; November 10; and, December 8.

Pursuant to SB 17 (2009), the Board hereby discloses that: Pursuant to NRS 629.051(7): The health care records of a person who is less than 23 years of age may not be destroyed; The health care records of a person who has attained the age of 23 years may be destroyed if those records have been retained for at least 5 years or for any longer period provided by federal law.

NOTIFY BOARD OF CHANGE OF ADDRESS WITHIN 30 DAYS

Each licensee shall (a) file with the Board his proper and current mailing address; and (b) notify the Board in writing of any change in his or her mailing address within 30 days after the change. Read NAC 633.260 for more details.
